About the N Interface

The type N interface (Neill) is a general purpose, threaded design which exhibits rugged construction, medium power handling capabilities and broadband frequency response for both commercial and military applications. Type N connectors are routinely designed with brass housings for commercial use and stainless steel for more rigorous military applications. There are two specified type N interfaces; precision grade which operates to 18 GHz and standard which operates to 11GHz.
