About the QDS Interface

The QDS series is a quick-connect/disconnect RF interface that provides reliable mating with fast connection capability. The QDS interface series is similar in performance to C and SC interface connectors. The QDS series balances size and power handling for medium power applications. This interface features a positive locking mechanism employing a spring-loaded sleeve on the male plug that is drawn back to let self-contained bearings “click” into grooves on the corresponding female and then slide forward to complete the mate. A fully mated condition is visually confirmed by use of a red-line indicator on the housing that is hidden under full engagement. The QDS series is ideal for medium power industrial equipment applications in semiconductor, solar and display markets.
