About the SC Interface

The interface of an SC connector is similar to that of a C with the exception of a threaded coupling mechanism vs. the bayonet coupling of the C series. The overlap of the teflon pieces at the interface allow for a higher voltage rating and better power handling than the similar sized Type N while still operating up to 11 GHz.
